I live in NC and do a fair amount of hiking and work on my homestead throughout the summertime months. I find that the bug me not bars are great at keeping all sorts of pesky flying and biting insects away from me as I'm going about my day. I keep it on a shelf by my door and give myself a couple dabs anytime I want protection that isn't gonna smell like a bunch of oily chemicals on my skin. I dig the more natural scent, the fact that a little goes a long way, and easy to carry container:5 STARS
Bug Me Not lives up to its name. I put this on my arms and legs, went outside with my fur babies. And not one mosquito or fly not even an ant came near me.
I don’t know what it is about this city, but the mosquitos are particularly aggressive! Summer nights on my front porch were ruined by arms and legs covered in mosquito bites. I hate using a bug spray after I shower, it feels gross to go to bed with that heavy chemicals on. The Bug Me Not is perfect because I know it’s natural, it smells really good and so I can chill on the porch comfortably without needing to feel gross and chemically. This is a natural repellent but I discovered it also works great for small cuts and burns. One day I accidentally burned myself while cooking and used this to soothe the burn. Not only did it soothe the burn but it minimized the swelling and redness almost immediately. Within two days of consistent use my burn was completely healed!! I was shocked.
This product has been a lifesaver for my daughter that is allergic to bug bites. It held up during running track and other outdoor activities. So happy we found a natural product rather than the store bug sprays.
